Big Names Return to Houston as the 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open Field Takes Shape.
The 2026 Texas Children's Houston Open, March 26-29, is coming together, as golf start Brooks Koepka, who returned to the PGA TOUR in 2026, is set to join the field, along with reigning tournament champion Min Woo Lee. Other headliners include Rickie Fowler, No.7 -ranked Chris Gotterup, No. 26 -ranked Si Woo Kim, Gary Woodland, Sungjae Im, and Will Zalatoris.

No. 31 Min Woo Lee returns to Memorial Park Golf Course in 2026, the site of his first-career PGA TOUR win at the 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open. So far in 2026, the Australian has made the cut in all three tournaments played, and nearly won his second career tournament at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, where he finished tied for second.

Koepka returns to the Texas Children’s Houston Open for the first time since 2021. Koepka boasts nine PGA TOUR wins and returns to the TOUR after spending the last four years on the LIV Tour. Koepka is a former No. 1 player in the world and four-time major champion. He has a unique connection to the Texas Children’s Houston Open, as he played an instrumental part in the redesign of Memorial Park Golf Course. Alongside Astros Owner and Chairman Jim Crane, Koepka worked with world-renowned golf architect Tom Doak as a PGA Tour consultant as Memorial Park was revamped into just the second PGA-certified, municipally owned golf course in the country.
Also joining the field in 2026 is Rickie Fowler. Fowler, a star and fan-favorite on the TOUR, most recently won the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic. Overall, he has six PGA TOUR wins. In 2026, Fowler, who played college golf at Oklahoma State, boasts three top-25 finishes, finishing tied for 18th at The American Express and Waste Management Phoenix Open, and tied for 19th AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am.

No. 7-ranked Chris Gotterup, who has four PGA TOUR wins, including two already in 2026, is set to join the field. Gotterup, who currently ranks first in the FedEx Cup standings, started the year off hot, winning the Sony Open in Hawaii. He followed that up two weeks later with a first-place finish at the WM Phoenix Open in a playoff against Hideki Matsuyama.
No. 26-ranked Si Woo Kim is set to join the field in 2026. He boasts four career PGA TOUR wins, and currently ranks seventh in the FedEx Cup standings. The South Korea native boasts four top 11 finishes on the year, including a season-best second place finish at the Farmers Insurance Open.
Gary Woodland, winner of the 2025 PGA TOUR Courage Award, is set to join the field. Woodland finished tied for second at last year’s Texas Children’s Houston Open, his highest finish at the tournament. He has won four tournaments, including the 2019 U.S. Open.
Sungjae Im will also join the field in 2026. A native of South Korea, Im has two wins on the PGA TOUR and tallied three top 10 finishes in 2025. This will be his fourth time being a part of the field for the Texas Children’s Houston Open, as he also competed in 2020, 2021 and 2025.
Will Zalatoris, who is coming off back surgery that shortened his 2025 season, will join the 2026 Texas Children’s Houston Open field. He’s played in two tournaments so far in 2026, and in his first tournament since coming off back surgery, he finished tied for 18th at The American Express.
Additional players will be announced in the coming week as the Texas Children’s Houston Open continues to draw a must-see competitive field. Players have until March 20 to enter the field.
