VICE PRESIDENT, OPERATIONS

Thomas Bell began his career with the Astros in 2017 at The Ballpark of the Palm Beaches, the spring training site for the Astros. He was the Assistant General Manager/Director of Operations for both the Astros and Washington Nationals coordinating spring training, Gulf Coast League season, Instructional League, Minor League Spring Training and Extended Spring Training before becoming the club’s Vice President of Affiliate Operations.

Prior to that, he worked with the Washington Nationals from 2007-2017, taking on the role of Director of Florida Operations. Bell became the Vice President of Operations for the Texas Children's Houston Open during the Fall of 2023.

Bell earned his B.A. in English Writing and Literature from Loras College in Dubuque, IA in 1990.
